Heat a medium frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the bacon and cook for 4-5 min, or until golden.
Thinly slice the onion. Add the onion to the pan with the bacon. Cook for a further 3-5 min or until onion are soft and tender. Finely grate the garlic (or use a garlic presser) add finely grate garlic to the pan and cook for 1 min. Put the bacon, onion and garlic in a bowl and safe for later.
